Excitement pumping throw our veins. It’s here, the 2010 Soccer World Cup!

It makes us proud to know that our home, South Africa, is host to the biggest sport event ever held. Since the announcement was made, the joy of South Africans was unstoppable. Here in Fairhills country we were have been planning exhibitions and making soccer decorations to show our support and how proud we are to be hosting such a big event. With less than a few hours to go, soccer fever is running high all over South Africa, the continent and the world!

The sound of Vuvuzela’s, people singing and joyfull faces will be the face of Africa for the next month. Thirty-two national teams from the six FIFA Confederation Championships are represented in the World Cup. A total of sixty-four matches will be played on 10 stadium all over South Africa. Some of them newly built and others renovated, but all equally impressive. Johannesburg will host 15 matches in Soccer City and Ellis Park; Greenpoint stadium (Cape Town) 9 matches; Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabath) 8 games; Moses Mabhida stadium (Durban)  7 and the Manguang stadium (Bloemfontein) will host 6 matches. We all hope that our team, Bafana Bafana, will make us proud to be South Africans.

Bafana Bafana, it’s our time to shine, our time to score. We stand behind you as one nation. We wish you all of the best. Be proudly South African. The trophy stays here!
